"Warm" Welcomes

Well,I have been here about half a week now.Everything has been wonderful,and I could not be any happier with the decision to come out here=] The only kind of suckish parts are that 1) I am sick/have allergies/or some freakish,annoying mix of the two, and 2) I don't enjoy this whole finding a job thing...lol.Who ever really enjoys the latter though?Anyway,so amidst all that's going on,I went to Institute for the first time last night.I was a little nervous as usual,but figured it really couldn't be THAT bad...I think the part of it that I had been dreading the most was the drive to and from,haha;) Luckily,I ended up not having to drive,though I got dropped off about 20 minutes early.I didn't really know which classroom the class was in,so I kind of wandered the halls for a little,finding the bathroom and whatnot.Once I got bored with that,I decided to sit in the foyer with my iPod and just wait for someone to show up.Funny enough,just before 7:30pm this girl shows up,and because I am a person apparently looking like they might know something,she says she's new to the area and wondered if I knew about Institute.I think she was a little confused when I started to laugh,but we were both relieved when I told here how I was also new=]Closer to 7:30pm,3 more people showed up and I could tell they probably were there for Institute,so I went to head to the classroom and catch up with my new friend,Kim.It was SUPER nice to have met her and to have someone to sit next to and commiserate with...just kidding...sort of.Institute was surprisingly,really enjoyable.When I got into the room,I met this dude named Brian.He seems pretty nice and after telling this one story,I think I have found who I can call ridiculous while away from Andy...just probably not as much to his face as I do with her,haha;)He was pretty hilarious=] Overall,this new singles ward looks fairly normal and AWESOME!Lol.Only a few "interesting" people or,at least so far,person.I seriously have to say though(and this is basically where the name of this post comes from) I have never had so many people introduce themselves to me before!These peoples are either really friendly,or I don't know what.Most seem pretty chill and like to do cool stuff,but for reals though.Left and right folks!Everywhere I turned or whenever someone would stop talking to me,BAM!Another person was there,shaking my hand and introducing himself.It was really almost weird and definitely unexpected.Lol.I wish I could go to the baseball game with them tonight,but I am just as excited to go see "Kiss Me Kate" with Hannah,which the singles ward is actually doing tomorrow.But yeah,just plays,job stuff,and strawberry picking for me until Sunday...which is probably when I'll have something good enough to put up another post;)Haha.I cannot wait to see all the things this ward and area has in store for me=]
